Weekly Focus: Aggressive First Ball
Goal: Win 60% of points when you land your first serve. Look to attack any short ball on the +1 shot.
Serve Targets
• 20 serves out wide deuce side
• 20 serves into body ad side
• Track: first serves in / 40 attempts
Match Habits
• Say your pattern before the point starts
• Commit to finishing at net when you force a short ball
Coach note: “You’re reading short balls well. Next step is trusting your move forward.”
The most common wins: higher lineup spots, tighter matches against top seeds, and players finally trusting their game style instead of playing scared.
